Tri-City United Schools are located 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities in the neighboring communities of Lonsdale, Montgomery, and Le Center, amid farms, lakes, and beautiful rolling hills. The district covers 90 square miles, close to Sakatah Singing Hills Trail, Riverbend Nature Center, and Richter Woods County Park. Biking, hiking, snowmobiling, boating, fishing, golfing, and cross-country skiing are among the area residents’ favorite activities. Our schools and communities offer a great place to raise a family.
The TCU district includes a 9-12 High school and PreK-8 school in Montgomery, a PreK-6 school in Lonsdale, and a PreK-8 school in Le Center. Our schools educate 1,850 resident students, and we are a district of choice for open enrollment from neighboring communities.
If you are new to the area, have a new baby or have moved since your preschooler was born, complete the Community Census so we can inform you of all Early Childhood Family Education activities, Community Education programs, Early Childhood Screening, and TCU school district information.
