All Licensed MN Educators are required to obtain 125 hours of continuing education to be eligible for renewal. Each of the following must be addressed in the five year period:

Accommodating, modifying and adapting curriculum, materials, etc.

Signs of early onset mental illness (1 hour suicide prevention)

Integration of technology with student learning to increase engagement and achievement.

In district staff development Continuing Education forms will be connected to a monthly form individuals will need to fill out. This is separate from the monthly feedback survey and must be completed monthly to generate a Continuing Ed Application Form. (If you do not receive the monthly form in your email, please check with office professionals to ensure you are on the site email group.)
Out of district staff development requires that a CEU form is filled out, and evidence of attendance/completion is attached to the approval form.
