Tri-City United Community Education’s school age care program, KidZone, offers a fun learning environment for your child that will complement and enrich your child’s experience.
KidZone is a before and after school care program serving students in kindergarten through age 12. Our mission is to provide quality care with a variety of pre-planned and supervised activities ranging from individual free play and art to team activity and skill-building projects. Before school, we are open at 6:30 am until school starts and right after school until 5:30 pm. We are open some non-school days from 6:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Our KidZone WRAP program is for students enrolled in our Little Titans Preschool, ages 3 – 5. Students must be able to use the restroom completely unassisted. Full day and partial day options are available. All day care is also available for some non-school days from 6:30 am – 5:30 pm.
We offer a full summer program with a structured daily schedule with activities based on our weekly themes. Activities include arts and crafts, library visits, summer reading programs, guest speakers, local business tours, treat days, swimming, and field trips.
Friday Field Trips take place every Friday throughout the summer for those entering grades 1 through Age 12! Note: some field trips require socks, and some require that sneakers be worn so your child will need to dress appropriately for field trips. Site Leads will be planning special Fun Friday activities for those ages 3 to entering Kindergarten. In the past, all of the younger students have gone to on-site for Fun Friday's. These younger students will also be able to attend a few of the Friday Field Trips that are deemed age appropriate.
