School Board Positions & Elections

School Board Positions

Each year, during the first January board meeting, the board goes through an organizational meeting to elect a chair, vice-chair, clerk, and treasurer.

The Tri-City United School District has a seven-member school board. The board is made up of members that have been elected by the community to serve a four-year term.

Board elections are held in even-numbered years with either three or four board positions being up for election. Elections will be publicized on the district website, through district social media, and in the district’s official newspaper.
