We are excited to be the District Mentor Teachers On Special Assignment (TOSA)* for the 2021-2022 school year. Our district is dedicated to the success of all members of our school community–students and educators. As the district mentors, we will be integrating new educators into the culture and climate of Tri-City United Schools along with supporting professional growth through the mentorship process. *Tri-City United has joined 7 other Minnesota districts by entering into a Professional Development Schools (PDS) partnership with Minnesota State University, Mankato to better prepare pre-service teachers through long-term field experiences and yearlong student teaching placements. As part of this partnership, two TCU teachers have been designated for as Teacher On Special Assignment (TOSA) to enhance this partnership through extended training and support of pre-service teachers. Graduate students earning their Masters degrees through MNSU, Mankato will be taking their place in 1st Grade and Middle School English Classrooms.
