New General Announcements 
 
Please have the following students stop in the office: Leire Sorozabal, Nick Johnson, Elizabeth Christian and Thomas Budin. 
 
Students, if you received an incomplete for first semester it is your responsibility to contact the teacher to get the work made up.
 
The TCU Clay Target Club will have an informational meeting for parents and athletes on Monday, January 22nd at 6:30pm in the TCU High School Choir room.  Athletic letters / pins will be handed out to those who earned them for their achievements during the 2017 season at this meeting.  Coaches will be on site to answer any questions.
 
Math Team: Meeting on Monday January 22nd during Titan Time in room B112. Practice Monday January 22nd after school in room B112. Meet Tuesday, January 23, van leaves at 2:55.
 
W.E. Team- There is a W.E. Team meeting Friday, 1/19, in Mrs. Veazie's room during Titan Time.

Metal Forks:  Just a reminder to our Titan HS'ers, that metal forks are washed and reused; and that most people would rather eat lunch from a metal fork than a plastic one.  Please place your used metal fork in the container to be washed; not thrown in the garbage can.  Thank you.
 
The TCU drama department presents "Thank You For Flushing My Head in the Toilet and Other Rarely Used Expressions," a one-act play. Come see this short dramedy about two bullied teens who are forced to make a tough decision: eat or be eaten. The public performance is next Thursday, January 25th at 7:00 PM at the Monty K-8 auditorium. The cost is $2.00. 
 
First Semester Artwork that was NOT labeled for the student art show or on display in the case MUST be picked up by 3:00 this Friday to make space for second semester students.  (Artwork will not be saved)
 
Psychology students from 1st semester: please pick up your final projects this week in Mrs. Veazie's room. Thanks!
 
Repeat Announcements:
 
Sophomores & Seniors:  For those planning to take a Saturday National ACT Test on either Feb 10 (Jan 12 deadline to register), April 14 (March 9 deadline), June 9 (May 4 deadline), & July 14 (June 15 deadline), you are welcome to join an OnToCollege group.  Each of these tests also have a late registration deadline with a late fee ( https://www.act.org/content/dam/act/unsecured/documents/Test-Date-Schedule-National-2017-2018.pdf ).  Only Juniors can test on the Minnesota ACT April 3rd date.  If you are a Senior & have already been accepted into your college, but want to take the ACT again to improve your score to earn more in scholarship dollars, OTC can help.  Stop into the HS Office & see Ms. Sery if your plan to take the ACT on one of the above dates and would like to take part in OTC prep sessions.

South Central College is hosting an Ag Symposium on Jan. 30.  This symposium is free to high school students and will introduce you to agricultural educational opportunities.  Any interested student should see Mr. Schmidt or your counselor.
 
A Software Development Crash Course will be offered here at the HS on Jan. 22nd - 24th from 3:30pm - 5:45pm. There is a sign up sheet in the office. For more information see Mr. Head, Ms. Lindblom or Ms. Lilla. No cost required!

This Sunday, January 21st TCU will be hosting a dance extravaganza clinic at TCU high school from 1pm to 3pm.  Come on out and get your dance on!!!  Hope to see you there!
